Das CBI 20-Modul wird zur Binärsignalerfassung verwendet und unterstützt verschiedene Sensortypen und Signalpegel. Es verfügt über 32 Binäreingänge, aufgeteilt in zwei Versorgungsgruppen mit jeweils 16 Eingängen. Das Modul gewährleistet eine hochauflösende Signalerfassung (1 ms) und bietet eine zentrale galvanische Trennung für Systemeingänge. Es ist zudem redundanzfähig, was die Zuverlässigkeit in kritischen Anwendungen erhöht.
