Dirancang untuk integrasi pengontrol yang lancar, modul ini biasanya beroperasi bersama MU-PSIM11 Serial Interface I/O Processor (IOP) dan memerlukan adaptor daya MU-TLPA02. Dengan konsumsi daya rendah sebesar 65 mA, unit ini dilengkapi perlindungan terhadap interferensi elektromagnetik (EMI) kelas industri dan berfungsi pada rentang suhu operasional industri yang luas, dari -40 deg C hingga +85 deg C.
