The Bailey Infi 90 Modular Power System supplies power (+5V, +15V, -15V, and +24VDC) to process control modules and field termination devices. It includes the power entry panel, fan assembly, power supply modules, mounting unit, bus bars, and associated wiring. These power modules provide scalable power for logic and I/O functions with N+1 redundancy. Under this redundancy scheme, power modules equally share output. In case of module failure, the remaining ones adjust their outputs to sustain the total system load. Thus, redundancy can be achieved with one extra module beyond the minimum requirement to power the system.
